adjusted AMD's drivers various options including presets from normal to optimized performance to quality setting Reinstalled everything (games, drivers, Windows etc.) Primarily what happens is in the screenshots. But those happened only very few times and a long time ago. Also worth mentioning that once or twice I had kind of weird dots on the screen that I can't really describe. Sorry for no example of that but for some reason Fraps didn't automatically start with windows so as I was doing many screenshots it was for naught. I killed them and they were lying around with those stretched-out textures all over. Every one of them had the same stretched out textures. Also, yesterday it happen on all Radstag in the area. Exactly same glitches happen in other modern games I mentioned. I don't have the screenshots of those, but sometimes they can be even bigger than the ones I showed. It becomes more of a chore than a joy to play games. But it can be really, really tedious to restart the game or go out of our way to reload an area so very frequently. Just restarting the game or reloading the area solves the problem. Like sometimes I could play for maybe even an hour and don't see one artifact, but sometimes I could just go in-game and it'll happen immediately. And it doesn't happen in for example: Doom 3, Assassins's Creed II and IV, original Skyrim, Left 4 Dead 2, Minecraft, The Sims 4.

So I've finally decided to make my own thread, and explain EXACTLY what happens to my PC so maybe some of you folk who are way more knowledgeable about hardware will be able to help.Īs the title suggests, it only happens in modern games like Fallout 4, Skyrim: Special Edition, Dark Souls III, Shadow of War, Subnautica or Nioh. I literally opened 10 different google searches, wrote my problem in a different way on all of them, and I've searched every link that Google suggested for up to two pages (later there weren't any relevant results). recently I got really sad about not being able to play newest, most awesome games so I've gone on another searching streak to solve my problem and I've been unsuccessful again. I had this problem for over a year now and I'm just so depressed.
